Deliver us from evil is an American crime-horror film directed by Scott Derrickson and it is taken from a non –fictional book entitled as “Beware the Night”. This film was recently released on July 2, 2014 and has become very popular among the audience as it thrills them the most.

This movie is based on the real life events of Ralph Sarchie, a New York cop who begins to investigate a series of tormenting and inexplicable crimes. He meets a Castilian priest who convinces him that the case he is dealing with is demonically related. So he joins forces with the priest to fight against the evil forces of darkness that are terrorizing their city.

The whole story takes place in Iraq where the two perform exorcism to a man who is the only survivor of a small group of people who became possessed in a cave. This film ends with a happy note of Ralph’s new born christening event in which the priest who helped Ralph conducts the ceremony. Later, Ralph quits the police force and joins with the priest to perform exorcism against the evil.
