Super Natural Horror Film
The Possession is written a supernatural horror film directed by Ole Bornedal, released on August 31st 2012, two months before Halloween. Clyde, basketball coach and his wife Stephanie divorced a couple of months ago and their teenage daughter Hannah and Emily spend her weekends with their dad and other days with their mum.
Clyde stops his car in a yard sale and Em (Emily) purchases a carved antique box and becomes obsessed with it. Em somehow unlocks the box and releases an evil spirit that possesses her. By her indifferent behavior and change in character, Clyde discovers that Em is facing some problem but his ex- wife and her boy friend do not pay attention to him and so he seeks the help of a professor named McMannis.
He explains that it is a Dibbuk box which is a Jewish haunted box that should not be opened and if opened the opener will be possessed. On hearing this information he travels to Jewish community in New York and there he finds a person named Tzadok who is expert in performing exorcism to save the girl from the evil spirit. This movie is a thrilling one and it is a must watch on Halloween.
