Terror Stricken Movie

Friday the 13^th is considered to be one of the best terror-stricken movies of all times and it is the most watched movies during Halloween. It is the story of revenge taken by Jason Voorhees who was considered drowned when he was eleven years old in 1957 and his body was never recovered. When his mum pleaded the counselors for help but they were busy making love at that time. So he wanted to kill all the counselors but she got her head chopped off by one of them.

So Jason takes revenge and starts to kill each and everyone who enters his area.Unfortunately some teenagers enter the Camp Crystal Lake ignoring the warnings from a crazy old man. These teenagers are manhandled by the slaughtering maniac who acts so cruel in killing each one of them. The highlight of this film is its mask which is so scary and it never reveals the identity of the killer. He stabs everyone’s to death with his sharp pointed knife and he does it in a mysterious ways.

Ghostbusters is an American supernatural comedy film directed by Ivan Reitman and written by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis. This story is three odd-ball scientists who were kicked out from a university in New York where they studied the occult. They become the Ghostbusters trapping pesky ghosts and haunted spirits who become a threat to the society.

                  Ghost Capturing Team

Their first customer was an orchestra cello player named Dana Barrett who was informed about some abnormal paranormal activities by her neighbor named Louis Tully on the twenty-second floor of a high rise apartment building on Central Park West. So the ghost capturing team visited the place with their proton guns and Winston Zeddmore who was looking for high paid job also joined their team. Walter peck was the overzealous environmental protection agent at that time and he arrested the Ghostbusters team, thinking they are frauds and cheating the society. Later on, when Gozer the destructor started attacking the cities, the mayor had no choice but to let the Ghostbusters out of jail to defeat Gozer. Some scenes are very thrilling and scary and frightens the viewers so much and it is a must watch movie for sure.

                     The Evil Dead (1981)

This movie is one of the most popular horror movies in the late eighties and the creepy blood thirty creatures are very disgusting in nature. It was directed by Sam Raimi who also directed Spiderman trilogy and produced by Bruce Campbell who has also given his voice for many animated films.

The violence and the gore effect produced in this film are very scary and awful. This story deals with five Michigan State University students who wanted to spend their weekend in an isolated cabin on hill top. There they find a creepy cabin in which the Book of the dead known as “Morturom Demonto” is found and as they get into the basement they find an old tape recorder enchanting demonic incantations from the book.

The whole place including the woods are evil possessed and one by one they are being attacked by these evil forces. The gory blood splashing fights are really frightening and finally only one member manages to come out from this place and when he takes a final look at the cabin, the story ends by showing the last survivor attacked.

A movie which thrills and increases our curiosity to know how the story ends is always exciting to watch. Our adrenal glands pumps up during investigating macabre contents of a horror movie and the violent gory murder scenes are frightful to watch. There are many horror movies which are based on true events and are really terrifying and create trepidation in our lives.

                   Terrifying Murder Movie

One such kind of movie is Psycho (1960) in which a psychologically disturbed hotel manager has a delusion that his dead mother who was buried in the cellar wants to kill their hotel guests. He dresses like her mother and brutally murders his guests who came to lodge in his hotel. There was a psychotic man who was arrested in 1957 for committing two murders and other countless women. He skinned their bodies and made a women suit out of it in hopes of becoming his mother. He was arrested and spent his rest of his life in a mental institution.

Another horror based real story has been so famous in recent times and it is called The Conjuring” (2013). In this story, one family moves to a colonial farmhouse where the evil spirits begin to target their daughters and a pair of paranormal investigators steps in to discover the mystery behind it. Roger and Carolyn Perron moved to a farmhouse with their five daughters and they experience a lot of abnormal activities which made the Warrens to start their paranormal investigations.
